Ocean View with Trees by Richard Hart – Art

I admit it. The ocean views from Hawaii are breath-taking and irresistible to stop attempting to capture artistically. This one, was done from a space off the highway about 2 miles from KoleKole Beach Park, on the windward side of the Big Island of Hawaii.

The waters coloring portion here is done with a mixture of cobalt, lapis, and navy colors. The technique is dab, dab, twist – which I like for long distance water scenery.
