I love automobiles. The engines. The chasis. The electronic systems. The suspension symmetry. And the sound of the exhaust and the movement of the vehicle. If it's got a motor, I'm interested. Better yet, if it's got a great motor and a unique design, I'm absolutely fascinated.
I started watching Formula 1 races when I was a child, and I've been hooked ever since. The speed, the engineering, the competition - it's all so exciting. Later came Can-AM and IndyCar. I loved them too.
The big money really hadn't fully engulfed the sport when I started watching and being interested. That came later... and it never left. Regardless,I started drawing car designs as I watched the races and TV shows about cars.
My goal is to always leave a viewer with a sense of movement in the machines I create. The purpose of the machine is ambulation, but the larger goal is to create the illusion of motion and power, and the ability for the car to take you where you really want to go.

1996 was a terrific year for Frank Williams' Team. And, as you can see, Alain Prost knows every square inch of driveable track anywhere in France.
