 Although I grew up in a Christian family, I did not actively accept Christ as my Lord and Savior until 1975.
I have been walking with Him ever since. It's not been always been an easy or straight path. You see... following Christ comes at a cost. You can not worship Him and yourself.
It's a difficult concept to grasp and live out. That said... God provides abundant grace for those that seek Him and want to build a relationship with Him. Have you thought about
your eternity and/or your life after you die?
Sometimes, I hear God's voice clearly, and other times, I have to listen more carefully. I have been blessed to have a number of Christian friends who have helped me grow in my faith and understanding. I am grateful for the many ways that God has worked in my life, and I look forward to continuing to grow in my relationship with Him. In case you are not aware, God's plan in creating the world was to have a relationship with humanity (me & you). He also gave humanity "free choice" - which is the ability to decide if we wanted a direct relationship with Him. I certainly want and cherish my relationship with Him. I actively enjoy planning to see my creator soon (face to face) in the new creation He built for those that wish to be with Him. It's called "Heaven"... and you can start your eternal relationship with Him at this moment. Want to know more? Great... I love talking about it!
